Description

This is a 14th century style sleeveless surcote worn with a tight linen dress, carved leather belt, matching hat and a silk veil. The dress is made of wool, lined with white silk and decorated with woolen table-woven bands, pearls, amber and silk embroidery. I have constructed the pattern from scratch with inspiration from medieval paintings.

 I really like this, it really looks like something that people would wear in the 14th century (not that I have something to compare it with). Anyway, it's beautiful!
